I'm not buying any more books!!
As extreme as that title sounds it’s completely true. Last year I got into the habit of reading books. Which is great until….I finished books and then wanted to get a new book.
I would go on amazon and then try to be economical. I would think to myself – let’s buy two books together if they’re on offer. Which normally would be fine except in my case I would keep one book with me and put the second book on the shelf to read after. You can guess what happened next. I would forget about the book on the shelf and get yet another new book. Then add to that recommendations from coaches and friends and I was drowning in books.
By December I calculated that I had 33 unread books. I decided enough is enough and so for 2021 I went and catalogued every single unread book.
As of writing this post I now have 25 books left on the list to read. I read, on average, about 8 books per quarter so I may just have the list finished by January 2022!! No pressure haha.
Here are those 25 books:
Disclaimer: This list doesn’t feature two books that I was gifted for my birthday last month. They will both feature in a blog post of their own so keep an eye out for those posts.
What books are you reading right now? Fiction or non-fiction I would love to know in the comments.
For now happy reading!
